a friend of mine told me about free writing
(writing constantly for a period without stopping and with a complete disregard for spelling and grammar)
which has basically allowed me to scribble/vent/blurt anything and everything from the top of my head to the deepest darkest parts of my mind and classify it as moderately productive.
I think it's important to just unload sometimes, and well as so interesting trying to decipher and understand our own thought processes.
30 mins of straight writing is also pretty great for the arm muscles
just putting it out there *flexes bicep*
This is one of my more photogenic thought trains. But there is always something so endearing about small, scrawled black penmanship.
