summer bucket list | read books that will feed my soul
The arrival of summer was accompanied with the ample time i had been waiting for to make a dent in the ever-growing list of books i had wanted to read.
Some of them are classics, others are the type of book that my mother frowns at (well, the title the virgin suicides was always going to raise an eyebrow), and others are ones i've already read before, but i reckon that there are certain books, like the perks of being a wallflower, which always feel like the first time reading it again and again and again.
And i think i will be reading most of these again and again and again; i adored every single one.
Do you have any favourites?
I'd love some more recommendations!
Ah these have all made an appearance on my list at some point too! I read On The Road last year and loved it, it's easy to relate to if you love to travel as he captures the thrill of it so well. I really want to read The Virgin Suicides so let me know what you think of it!

Summer really is a great time for reading :D I'm supposed to be reading lots of books for school... they're just not as enjoyable when there's essay writing involved! My fave book is The Catcher in the Rye - it's brilliant. I also really love A Patchwork Planet :) My cousin is called Kate and she lives in Oxford too! Just thought I'd point that out haha :') Lovely blog! x

Ah great selection of books-I've been trying to do some reading in summer too as sadly I've neglected it over the past year. I read 'Rebecca' by Daphne du Maurier-really recommend it although it's not exactly cheerful and summery haha
