diy xmas gifts: mixtapes




Ok, so they're not proper mixtapes, but mixCDs don't really have the same ring to them, do they? 

Perhaps the way I devoured The Perks of Being a Wallflower when I was fourteen is finally biting me in the butt, but it seems to me that there is not a more simple and perfectly personal DIY present than the mighty mixtape.  

All you need to do to provide a lucky friend/family member with eternally happy ears is...

pick a musical theme
create a playlist of kick-ass songs
grab yourself a blank CD
 burn the playlist onto the disc
make a super duper awesome paper sleeve to slot it into
*hand painting the cover in Ponytail Derek style is optional*


Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy

    I love this! I made a mixtape for this guy I liked and he really liked the idea. PS- perks of being a wallflower is definitely one of my all time favourite movies x
