 I was persuaded by Charlie of the Perks to find my grandfather's old typewriter in the attic and wipe off the thick layer of dust which had accumulated over the last 40 years. I love how much history there is in this hunk of metal and plastic - this typewriter used to write letters that were sent over the Atlantic ocean to my mother in boarding school. Craaaazy.

And now I use it, mostly for writing lists or silly letters to friends, but i've placed a few of my favourite books nearby in hope that one day i'll be able to write something half as wonderful.
